The Heartbeat of Cardano.

Tangopay: The Payment Processor for Dancing with Ada

There is currently a growing demand for payment processors. Cryptocurrencies have dramatically lowered the barrier to accepting payments on the web. In this way, Tangopay will be a global payment system in which there will be no foreign exchange rates, nor fees for foreign transactions that many credit cards charge.

There is a large market for freelancers, freelancers and companies that sell a variety of services on an individual basis.

NFT marketplaces, startups selling B2B software solutions, or software developers selling mobile app solutions, or small and medium-sized businesses selling their products through e-commerce. There are also Foundations that receive crypto donations.

In Cardano there are similar applications such as ADA Pay, Revuto or Bidali. Tangopay has its own characteristics, which are detailed in the proposal.

Revuto is an active subscription management dApp built on Cardano to help people save money on their subscriptions.

ADA Pay comes with a full suite of payment gateway, donations gateway and merchant back-office CRM. It will make it easier for merchants to accept a payment with ADA and then stake it immediately for staking rewards, creating a positive feedback loop. It will be embedded in websites, mobile devices, and eventually in Point of Sale systems.

Bidali is a new digital commerce experience that helps you keep more of your money. It has completely overhauled the payment experience by making it simple, free, and rewarding.

There will be various benefits for both merchants and customers using Tangopay.

The merchant and their customers will gain the advantages of low transaction costs from Cardano fees compared to other blockchains or charges from credit card networks and processors of payment.

Merchants will benefit from gaining access to a global customer base and a seamless and seamless mechanism for receiving borderless digital currency payments.

Customers will be able to pay directly from their devices using Cardano as the settlement network. This way, they no longer need to collect and store payment credentials or sensitive customer information.

It can be integrated into the main e-commerce platforms such as WooCommerce, Shopify and Magento.

All payments will be on chain, which means that all payment transactions are recorded in real time on the Cardano blockchain with all the security mechanisms it provides.

They will use invoices to collect payments from existing customers or share a payment link without the need for a code.

Merchants will be able to manage accounts, payments, send invoices and view detailed income and financial reports directly from the dashboard. They will be able to create joint custody of the wallet balance by creating a multisig wallet that will require the signature of the key holders to make withdrawals from the account balance.

The Proposal for Dancing

Tango is a musical genre and a dance, characteristic of the cities of Buenos Aires (in Argentina) and Montevideo (in Uruguay).

Tangopay intends to facilitate peer-to-peer Ada payments from anywhere and at any time, not being like a bank, since although it has all the benefits of payment processing, it is a non-custodial service, which means that all Funds you receive are under the full and exclusive control of the user, as Tangopay does not have access to any of the funds.

How is it achieved? Tangopay will generate addresses that can be used to receive payments (or can be imported from an existing wallet). The application continuously monitors the blockchain for payments, so there is no infrastructure to build or maintain to monitor the blockchain, and users can focus on running and growing their business.

Tangopay will enable quick integrations with three popular e-commerce platforms, WooCommerce, Shopify and Magento, ensuring that payment services can be quickly set up.

An easier way to convey payment details to customers can be provided, with payment buttons and checkout flows. These integrations come with a friendly design, ensuring an optimal customer experience.

This goes a long way in saving cost and setup time and provides extensive flexibility and the ideal convenience to accept cryptocurrency payments through a trusted solution.

Payment elements:

  • Pick the format option that works best for your business. Use payment links, buy buttons or QR codes and then share them through social media, email, text, or on a website.
  • Match the look and feel of your brand by adding your logo and colours.
  • Use the Dashboard or email to be notified of a successful payment, and trigger a set of predefined actions.
  • Create payment links at scale via an API to automate marketing campaigns, streamline sales operations, or expedite payment collection.
  • Payments using Cardano and Milkomeda.

There will be Shopping Cart Plugins for all major eCommerce platforms, which will set up the store with Tangopay in minutes, like WooCommerce or Shopify.

Tangopay wallet or payment APIs will be able to be integrated into the business, for a personalized cryptographic experience for customers.

There will be instant payment notification (Webhooks/Callbacks), and an invoice generator.

For this, modules will be designed: payments, balance, and customers, orders, invoices (management and creation and sending of invoices), products (create/edit/delete products), transactions, Webhooks.

There will also be custom payment buttons (widgets), hosted payment pages, and multisig signature balance withdrawal.
